At 44, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. Life with my husband and our three kids has always been full of love, laughter, and chaosand cancer wasn’t part of the plan. But this journey has taught me strength I didn’t know I had, and it’s reminded me how powerful hope and community can be. My hope is that by being open, I can connect with others and remind anyone facing this diagnosis that there’s strength in sharing and support in community.

I am a strong support system to two of the strongest breast cancer survivors , my mom and grandma. As Treasurer of My Pink Experience, I’m passionate about serving the community, spreading awareness, and uplifting others. With a heart for people, I strive to inspire and bring encouragement wherever I go.
My diagnosis of clinical stage II B, triple-negative invasive ductal carcinoma of the right breast in 2023 was a stark reality check. For generations, breast cancer was a shadow in my family, a fear I had always carried.
When that fear became my reality, I chose to face it head-on. My journey—which started with six months of chemotherapy , then surgery, radiation then even more chemotherapy- taught me the critical importance of a strong support system. Now a two-year survivor, my story is a testament to the power of GOD First then resilience, hope, and a strong community.

Outreach
In 2021, I was diagnosed with breast cancer—a journey that tested me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I discovered strength I didn’t know I had. Because of this, I’m passionate about walking alongside others in their own battles—encouraging, uplifting, and reminding them that even in the fight, God is near and hope is never lost
I’m Geneeva Coleman, and I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. Hearing that diagnosis is life changing. Having a strong family support and a strong faith background is what carried me through this journey. So I think it’s only fit that I try and be there for anyone else who is going through this journey. Here to support any way I can. This community has helped me along the way, the support and love and new friendships are real.
